This Privacy Policy explains how Whisper Solution ("we", "us", "the Provider") handles information in connection with the Avocato legal practice management application (the "App"). Avocato is a professional tool used by law offices and their staff and clients to manage cases, hearings, documents, and related financial records.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account & identity data: name, username, role (client, lawyer, manager), phone, email, and login credentials.
• Legal practice data you enter: clients, contacts, cases, hearings, tasks, legal deadlines, documents, fees, invoices, and payments.

Information collected automatically

• Device & technical data: device model, operating system version, app version, and a unique device identifier used to activate and secure your account.
• Push notification token: a token from Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver alerts (e.g. upcoming sessions and deadlines).

On-device security data

• PIN and biometrics: your PIN and biometric authentication (fingerprint/face) are processed and stored only on your device by the operating system. We never receive or store your biometric data.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide the App's core features and let you manage your legal practice.
• To authenticate you and protect your account and data.
• To synchronize your data between your device and your office's server.
• To send operational notifications such as session and deadline reminders.
• To maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the App.

3. Data Storage & Synchronization

Your data is stored locally on your device and synchronized with the server operated by your own law office (the account owner). The office is the controller of the legal and client data it manages through the App. We process data on their behalf to provide the service.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising. Data may be shared only:

• Within your law office, according to the roles and permissions configured by the office.
• With service providers that help operate the App (for example, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications), strictly to deliver the service.
• When required by law or to protect legal rights and safety.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including authenticated login, PIN and biometric protection on the device, role-based access control, and secured data synchronization. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

6. Data Retention

Legal practice data is retained for as long as your law office keeps its account active or as required to comply with legal and professional obligations. You may request deletion of your personal account data as described below.

7. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or ask questions about how it is used. Requests related to case and client records may need to be directed to the law office that controls that data.

8. Children

Avocato is a professional tool intended for law offices and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Third-Party Services

The App uses Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications. Google's handling of data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
